Rules of the race

Runnerpad is a token launchpad run as a daily race. Every token launched here gives up its creator fees to one shared vault. Every 24 hours the dev of the biggest token by market cap takes everything the vault collected.

An example race

  • 1
    $ONE
    Market cap at the finish
    $210K
Fees it sent to the vault
    0.50 ETH
    Its dev receives
    1.45 ETH
  • 2
    $TWO
    Market cap at the finish
    $140K
Fees it sent to the vault
    0.80 ETH
    Its dev receives
    0
  • 3
    $THREE
    Market cap at the finish
    $35K
Fees it sent to the vault
    0.15 ETH
    Its dev receives
    0

The pot is 0.50 + 0.80 + 0.15 = 1.45 ETH, and all of it goes to the dev of $ONE. $TWO sent the most fees and still got nothing: market cap decides, not volume.

The idea

On a usual launchpad every dev collects the creator fees of their own token. The dev is paid for volume, whether the token grows or dies.

Here no dev collects their own fees. All of them go to one vault, and the whole vault goes to a single dev: the one whose token has the biggest market cap when the day ends. The only way to earn is to build the token that outgrows every other token on the track.

Second place gets nothing. The next day everyone starts again.

Launching a token

  • Tokens launch on the pons bonding curve on Robinhood Chain, in one transaction sent from your own wallet. The site never holds your keys or your funds.
  • Every token gets the same setup: a supply of 1,000,000,000, a 1% curve fee on every trade, and graduation to a DEX pool at 4.2 ETH raised, with the liquidity locked by pons.
  • You pay the pons launch fee of 0.0005 ETH plus your dev buy. The dev buy happens inside the launch transaction, before anyone else can trade, and the tokens go to your wallet.
  • You can set a creator tax from 0 to 10% on every trade of your token. It does not go to you. It goes to the vault and makes the pot bigger.
  • What makes a token part of the race: it names the vault as its creator fee recipient. The dev cannot take that back. On pons only the current recipient can hand the role to another address.

What goes into the pot

  • The pons curve charges 1% on every buy and every sell. pons keeps 30% of that fee. The other 70% is the creator side, and it goes to the vault.
  • A token's creator tax, if its dev set one, goes to the vault in full.
  • The pot of a race is what all tokens together earned for the vault during that race, the winner's own token included. The number on the board is counted from trades as they happen.

The race

  • A race lasts 24 hours, from 00:00 UTC to the next 00:00 UTC. There is always a race running.
  • Tokens are ranked by market cap: the current price times the supply. Every token has the same supply and is priced in ETH, so the order depends on price alone, and a move in the ETH price never changes it.
  • A token joins the race the moment it launches. There is no entry deadline and no minimum size.
  • The track shows the top 6. The lane is the place. How far a runner has come shows how much of the day is gone and how close the token is to the leader, so the leader crosses the line exactly at the finish.
  • The lead can change until the last second.

The finish

  • At 00:00 UTC the race closes. The token with the biggest market cap at that moment wins.
  • The winner's dev is the wallet that launched the token. The whole pot goes from the vault to that wallet.
  • There is no second place and no split.
  • The pot starts again from zero and every token is back on the line, yesterday's winner included. A token can win any number of races.

Close calls

  • One token on the track: its dev takes the pot.
  • Two tokens with the same market cap: the older one wins.
  • A race without a single trade: the pot is empty and nobody is paid.
  • A token that graduated to the DEX stays in the race.
  • A dev who launched several tokens can win with any of them.

Check it yourself

  • Every token's fee recipient is public on pons and in the explorer. A token that does not name the vault is not part of the race and does not appear on this site.
  • The vault address is published here before launches open. Everything it receives and everything it pays out is visible in the explorer.
  • Prices, trades, fees and holders on this site are read from the chain. The site sends no transactions of its own: every launch and every trade is signed in your wallet.

Risks

  • Tokens are volatile and can lose all of their value.
  • Only one dev is paid per race. A token can lead all day and lose in the last minute.
  • A dev who does not win earns nothing from the token's fees. Buying or holding a token does not give you a share of the pot.
  • Nothing on this site is financial advice.
